Give me a prompt in the following format:
fandom + pairing + color + title of an album
fandom + pairing + color + title of a movie
fandom + pairing + color + title of a book

I havent had much inspiration of late, so thought this might help.

You can choose just one, two or all three (though unless the Muse is super excited I will only choose one prompt). I make no guarantees to write them all - I'm just hoping the Muse will come to the party.

You all know my ships - if you need a refresher, check out my recent shipping meme or my shipping masterlist.

You may or may not have noticed, but I havent posted fic in a while. About five months actually. This is because I have not been inspired to write at all. Maybe its because there has been a lot going on, I dont know. Even when I want to write something, no ideas are forthcoming. I miss it a lot.

To that end, I am taking five prompts for drabbles. I make no guarantee that I will get them all done, but I will definitely try.

You guys know what ships I have written before. In addition, I wouldn't mind trying Nate/Jenny, Dan/Blair, Daniel/Betty, Charlie/Claire, George/Izzie. Or feel free to send anything else my way.

So please leave a ship and a song lyric as prompt in a comment and I will attempt the first five peoples suggestions.

Cheers.

So I finished the first draft of a fic yesterday. This morning I opened it back up to go through it and tweak and what not, only for some reason nothing of what I did yesterday saved. I looked in other folders, hoping that maybe I had just saved the newest version of the file somewhere else, but that came up with nothing. So now I have to go back and re-write the page I wrote yesterday. *head desk* Why don't all word docs automatically save every minute????

With Easter coming up and not much on TV and the muse not forthcoming with any fics ideas, I thought about doing a mood theme. Only, I dont know what to do it of. I thought about Daniel/Betty from Ugly Betty (I bought the DVD of season one on Saturday and have been reminded of how much I love it) but I think looking through screencaps of over 20 episodes might do my brain in (and the gallery I found is all out of order and horrible).

So, what would you suggest? Any movie or ship or TV show or anything you would like done? Is there a particular HP theme one you would be interested in? What about non-fandom ones? I'm not guaranteeing to do them, just looking for ideas to help inspire me.

Anyway, leave me any and all suggestions. Cheers.

I mentioned in my last post that I went to fanfiction.net the other day and that I almost never go there. Well, I never go there anymore. Back in the day, when I was just beginning to get into various fandoms, I did go there a bit (though for most of my few fandoms I read and posted fic to different websites). Anyway, the funny thing is that yesterday I got an email from fanfiction.net saying someone had posted a review at both my Dark Angel fics that I uploaded there six years ago.

This amuses me on two levels. One, I think its funny I go to ff.net one day and the next day I get a review for one of my fics. Two, I cant believe someone is reading something from six years ago!

For those of you interested - my ff.net profile. There are six stories there: 3 Roswell, 2 Dark Angel and 1 Alias fic.

The website I posted my other Roswell fics at has since disappeared and I honestly cannot remember where I posted my Dawsons or Voyager fics. And I'm pretty sure I had more Alias fics, but I dont know where they were posted either. LOL.

Anyway, feel free to check it out and laugh an my writing. :O)

I redid my user info. You can check it out here. Its a bit bigger than I anticipated, so there might be some scrolling across if you have a smallish monitor. As always, thoughts and comments are most welcome.

Saw Sweeney Todd yesterday. I liked it. A bit unusual but very interesting. I was quite impressed with Johnny's singing - I admit I had low expectations and I was pleasantly surprised by it. Its not the best singing in the world, but better than I imagined. And Alan Rickman was just made of awesome.

Hope everyone enjoys the Oz public holiday. I think I will be spending my day doing washing and maybe attempting to force the Muse back onto the job. We'll see.

Damnit. Why can't I write??? I have several ideas, I've been sitting at my laptop for about an hour and its just not working for me. The best I have been able to manage is writing a few paragraphs and then deleting them and starting over again - I've done that about five times now.

Where are you, Muse??? Come back!!!!

Like a lot of people I havent been doing too well with the whole writing thing of late. I think my Muse stowed away in my suitcase and is currently living it up in Europe.

So, to help get me going, please give me a pairing or character and a prompt and I will try and drabble it.

And yes, I know I have all those ABC prompts still (I got them so long ago I wouldnt be surprised if everyone forgot about them LOL) but I'm not getting any joy with them right now. :O(

So, prompt me people!

ETA: I've got a few prompts to work on now. Thanks all. :O)

Okay, so here is a rundown of my weekend.

Friday:

My boss left work at about 1.30/2.00ish and tells me I can leave now too. That would be awesome, if she didnt pick the one day I was staying in the city to go out after work. Of course the one day she says I can leave early I cant anyway. But then I decided if she said I could leave early it meant I could leave work and go shopping. :O) So I did. I bought a few DVDs - The OC Season Four (the only season I've bought - Ryan/Taylor FTW), Dead Like Me Season One (so I dont have to borrow it off my suster anymore) and Liar Liar (it was on sale).

Then E (my sister) and I went to Lygon St and had dinner. It was drizzling but we still decided to eat outside coz the cafe was hot and stuffy, and there were large umbrellas so we wouldnt get rained on. Which was fine. And then it started raining sooo heavily. Biggest raindrops ever. And it was fine, we got a bit of mist from the edges of the table but still not rained on. But then I realised, all the rain was falling onto the ground, and rolling down the slight slope of the footpath, and the bottom of my jeans got soaked. Not fun.

Then after eating we went and saw December Boys. It was good. It wont be for everyone - very character driven, as opposed to plot driven. Dan was excellent. Seriously. As for the Oz accent, I thought it was really good. I could hear the Brit coming through once in a while but on the whole, very good. I wont say more for those of you out there who havent seen it and dont want to be spoiled.

Saturday:

In the morning (like 9am) E and I went shopping. I needed a new top for the hens night I was going to that night (and for my trip) so I needed her second opinion. We did a few other things while we were out before I went back to her house to make a post over at [info]hermione_ldws saying the result and challenge posts would be coming later because my net at home had died. Thats right, it has died again. Stupid bigpond. Anyway, then I left E's and went to pick up [info]auxetoiles23 from the station.

[info]auxetoiles23 and I are going overseas soon but we hadnt actually met each other before. LOL. But it was totally great. *squishes her* I took her back to my house coz my mum wanted to meet her. I think my mum wanted to make sure she wasnt a 45yo male or something, since we met online. LOL. So she met my mum and I showed her around my place and some of my stuff from my last holiday. Then we went to Highpoint. Got some food, did a bit of shopping for the trip, and went and saw The Nanny Diaries. It was okay - not as funny as I hoped but still okay. Pretty much what you expected it to be. Then we left and I dropped [info]auxetoiles23 at the station before heading home. The next time we see each other will be in London!!!

I got home from Highpoint, got changed, and then my friends L and C picked me up to go out to the Hens Night. Honestly, C and I were a bit confused as to why we were invited. We arent that close with the bride (we were friends in high school - though not even close friends - and we only really see each other once or twice a year). Anyway, L dropped us off (he somehow didnt get an invite to the bucks night, despite being better friends with the groom than we are with the bride AND living with the groom for a bit in the past). C and I decided we were there because a) another high school friend is maid of honour, and we are close with her, and b) to make up numbers. LOL. Anyway, it was at one of those theatre restaurants. It was an okay night. There were a few funny moments - the climax of the show being one of the male actors gracing the stage in a Borat mankini comes to mind. LOL. So wrong but so funny. C and I didnt go out afterwards - L came to pick us up and I went home to bed.

Sunday:

E and I were supposed to go see Stardust. But by then I was knackered. LOL. Also, our older sister J was having one of those Enjo parties, so we thought we should probably go. So I went to J's at about midday so I could user her net for a bit before the party. The rest of the day was spent on the couch watching The OC.

So hopefully E and I (and her boyfriend) will be seeing Stardust some time this week.

Since I have had no access to the internet, I have been skimming my flist at work. It got up to something like skip=250. If I missed anything, please let me know.

Re: fic. I have been working on my [info]smutty_claus fic, since its due a few days after I get back from my holiday. Alas, that means I have had to put aside my [info]7spells series. For those of you who remembered the writers block I was having with the smutty parts - I have written a bit more since the last time I complained about it, but its still not done. *cries* Hopefully I'll come back from my trip all rejuvenated and finish it in one go. *crosses fingers*

So I finished reading Eclipse on the train this morning. Those books sure do suck you in. Knowing pretty much nothing else about them, can anyone fill me in on when the next one is expected, how many more there will be etc.

I missed Dan on Nova this morning. :O( They just replayed a bit of it though. Seems he was in top form as always. Was talking to my sis on Sunday about Dan being on Rove later that night and she turned to me and said "So when are we going to see December Boys?" So either she knows I will want to see and she would be the only one who would go with me, or I have finally got her sucked in to anything HP related, and she wants to see it just because of Dan. I think its the latter. *beams*

I havent updated everyone re: ticket purchasing in a bit. And yes, I have bought more tickets. No more concerts this time though - this time we are looking at theatre. Bought a ticket to see Pygmalion on Broadway, with Claire Danes. Also got a ticket to see Spamalot in January. I saw this show on Broadway a couple of years back (with Tim Curry FTW) and now they are bringing it to Melbourne I'm going with my parents and sister. Oh, and did I mention - front row!! :O)

I really wish my Muse would let me finish my [info]7spells series. All thats left is the smut and I havent been remotely inspired to write it lately. But I really want to get it finished and posted before I go on my holiday (in just over 5 weeks time). So, my dear readers, a poll...

I have so much love for my flist for choosing Cary Elwes as their fave Robin Hood. Cary pretty much pwns everything he is in. He rocks.

Thanks for all the suggestions for what to call my Muse. There were some great responses - some of my faves include: Hamish, Bob and John Travolta. :O) Although right now all I can think of calling my so-called Muse is Miserable Bastard - I cant write anything at the moment. I sat down the other day to write one of my ABC challenge fics (no, I havent forgotten about them, I've just been busy with exchange fics). Anyway, sat down, wanting to write, and came out of it with a really crappy half a page of writing. Not happy.

For all those wondering, all the bands and artists in the poll, where a lot of you picked what exactly do all these people have in common??? - they are all playing the Australian leg of the Live Earth series of concerts. Personally I would love to go to the British one - David Gray, Damien Rice, Snow Patrol, Genesis, Madonna... The US one aint too bad either. :O)

Also in the poll, a lot of people chose 'other' for the Lost ships. Is that coz you dont watch it / ship anything or because your ship wasnt mentioned? If it was the latter I'd love to know your Lost ship.

Saw Shrek 3 today. Not as good as the first two but it had some amusing moments.

Driving Lessons is finally released here this Thursday. :O) I have the day off on Friday - might go check it out.

I have had a heap of comments on my mood themes the last couple of days. I'm wondering if there is a reason for the sudden up-surge in people snagging them. Not that I mind of course. :O)

I finally finished my [info]sunandsmut fic. Phew. Its not great, but its done, and at this point thats all I care about.

I went shopping yesterday and bought much more than I should considering I am saving for a holiday. Amongst the purchases was the Robin Hood S1 DVD. Why they released it before it has even finished being shown on TV I'll never know but I wont complain. I have just finished watching to the last ep I saw on TV - from now on its all new goodness. In fact, thats where I'll be doing as soon as I post this. :O)

Okay, I think thats enough randomness from me. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Over the last few days I have watched the LotR trilogy for the first time in ages - I had forgotten how much I loved it.

There is a second OotP trailer. Every time I see something about this movie I want to see it more and more. Is it July yet???

I finished my first draft of my [info]hghpficexchange fic and I have to say - I freakin love it. I dont know what everyone else (inc my recipient) will think of it but I am very happy with the way it turned out. I am struggling a bit with my [info]sunandsmut fic though. :O( There is still some weeks til its due so hopefully The Muse will help me out with it.
